I have a 400 lb cp with mersch intake, berkeley jet with stainless a, 500ci bbc (800hp) and 2 buckets. I was wondering where do i set the ride plate and nozzle to. Also how long of a driveline and how much shoe should i use.

Do some research in the jet boat section or the wfl section, find a good starting point and run with it, see what it does. I found alot of good info on this forum. Good luck its only time an money

Its not how long of a driveline to use, its how far forward is the engine set. We have our engine set at 25" from transom on our 18, per MPD. Not sure on a 19. Hardware is all test and tune, one change at a time. Start with 2 to 4 degrees on ride plate.

Are you sure that you have Merish intake in a 19 CP. Unusal to have a low profile intake in a 19. Don't get me wrong there are low profile intakes that are being used in the 18 but not many in the 19. Shoe depth , nozzle angle, and rideplate are all going to be different on the low profile intake. The pump is going to load harder than what is being used in the majority of 19's being run. Most are running a modified 4 degree so shoe depth is going to be different alnog with nozzle angle and rideplate angle.
