Glad it went to a good home. I don't know any history on this boat. Hopefully you will get some good advice on setting it up. Congrats! It should make a fun lake boat. Another new V-driver. devil

... you can come to Camp Far West Lake (CFW) on New Years Day (Polar Days) and you should be able to find a couple of flatties just like yours that you can take measurements off of. Just make sure you don't take measurements off of ones that run worse than yours....

Hey nova 1969, Hondo in the Heat, How's it going? Maybe someone that runs a power glide tranny will speak up but here is what I figure.... 31-32 inches from the transome is about stock, and most will move to @ 36" with increased horsepower. However since it's a lake boat, I would probably leave it somewhat 31-32" especially with the added weight of the tranny. You don't have alot of room to play with in front of the tranny anyway. Maybe someone has some info on an actual set up.

Anyway, translated this means 1 twelve pack beer to put motor in, 4 cans from the back of the transomeLieshand

His boat is the flatty purchased from povertycase, and I've seen the boat and it looks bitchin, much better than previous pictures. It is going to be a beautiful boat when finished. He is not good with a computer and camera but I will be back to see him and the boat soon.

P.S. He just had a big tumor(C) removed and is healing up, so A few good words to the man upstairs would be nice. Thanks friends, Hang in there dad and don't work too much on the boat right now.
