So, I just bought a 1991 21' Warlock that measures 22'8" in length. You may have seen it on clist in Phx. Anyway, this thing rides like a dream and is super quiet. Made the jump from a 496 roller motor in a 19.5' Challenger jet.
Does anyone have any experience on anything similar? For a start, i am looking to pick up some speed and get more of the boat out of the water. Would like to get to as much out of it without major overhaul. Runs about 60 mph, this boat is so heavy, at WOT it breaks water at the rear of the front seat. Currently has a 26 3 blade SS Laser II prop. Everything appears very stock. I do have manual adjustable ride plates on the transom in line with the tunnels. Not sure what you call these. I figured i would start by bringing them up a bit so they aren't forcing the nose down. A guy on another forum suggested http://www.simonmotorsports.com/index.html . Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Not looking for a racer. I have gone that route on the jet and am losing my patience on the high maintenance.

Thanks!
