hi to all, I'm new to the site and thought i would say hi. I have a 1977 hallett. Its been fun to run around the lake with. It's hard to find others with thesetype of boats. I live down in lebanon and go to foster lake to boat. I haven't been stopped by the cops yet. I am wondering if any one knows a good place to have a berkely jet pump gone through. Mine is leaking a little from the seal. Any help would be great. What other lakes are good for boating. I saw the post for the one in washington but not sure where it is. Thanks again:)devil

That was foster lake in sweet home. My typing isn't the best. And thank you for the list of lakes. Do any of the people in oregon get together for a local trip?
None that I have met yet, I have tried to talk to a few guys at the river but they didnt seem intrested in talking. They did have a get together up in longview over the weekend but I wasnt able to go, Other than that no???

We are heading up to Mardon for labor day for that get together and thats a 5 hour drive one way. It seems like ever weekend we are at a diffrent lake.

At the risk of butting in, check out Tony at Skagen Boats. He and his dad have more history in hotboats running in the NW than most have lived here. They will do you right.

With that said, we have the Mardon trip coming up quick and both Larry and Lonnie are coming to it (no wimping out guys). Come on and you'll have your HP fix for the winter. Anything that floats (jet, vdrive, outboard or other is welcome).

Hope to see you there............john

We go after work all the time. I live about 10 miles from foster lake. If it doesn't work out maybe we can meet you for a day run at hills creek.

Thanks for your input. I will give them a call. I don't want to give it up till summer is over. Its a small leak if i wasn't looking for something i wouldn't have found it.Thanks

Yes check out Skagen Boats. There are few southern WA boaters who sometimes come up near Skagens shop and I am sure would be willing to deliver your pump for you when the time comes.

oh and just east of Eugene is Dexter Res/Lowell. The CDBA runs there so guessing its jet friendly when there are no races. Might meet some locals there as well. One of the racers Brent who has Misfit joined us for the Lower Columbia Run get together last weekend.
