Not one bit surpeising to say the least. The funny part that stood out was that it is now reported the date of when armed security will no longer be present.
This has been going on for as long as I care to remember. Another thing that seems to happen is the manipulation of crime reporting and statistics by cities/states. It has been an ongoing trend for crime stats to be reduced with under reporting, reclasification and the pathetic tactic, to come across as thought the victim somehow should be treated as poorly as the criminal and subjected to cross examination by those whom should simply be recording the facts as the victim states them. All this to make the PD seem as though they are more effective than they really are at "preventing" crime.on a side note , here in sacramento this weekend there was a shooting in old sacramento on new years eve , the suspect had already shot and killed two people and wounded three others , an armed security gaurd heard the shots and ran to the scene , took two bullets to himself , got up and shot the perp . ironically , the PD was given credit for the take down , claiming to be first on scene , wouldnt want any armed citizens getting the good credit !
