it was wrong when they switch parties with out an election...its wrong when we do it...but...

the hissy fit is hysterical!

During the coup, Democrats fled the chamber, turned out the lights, and cut off the Internet feed of chamber proceedings, leaving Republicans and their two Democratic friends to take the vote in the dark.

This happened a few months ago, didn't it, didn't pelosidenial turn off the lights on congressmen while congress was in session.

How is this allowed, from any party?

Brian

She pulled that number back in the Fall 0f '08 when they were trying to get the Drilling going to reduce gas prices. Shut down the lights and communications and ordered the Republicans to leave. Closed the session so they couldn't bring the thing to a vote as I recall.

More do it our way or else bullshitt from the queen of the Democratic Socialists.....:|err

1. They did not break it out dem to repub......they polled voters.
2. 42% approval and about 16% disapproval......at the start and with the margin of error of +/-3 that could put him at a difference of only 3%.
3. Dramatic change in only 5 months.
4. Keep your head in the sand.

There are 3 classes of people taking polls:

Adults
These are the "man on the street", random telephone polls.

Registered Voters
These are phone polls of people taken from voter registration records

Likely Voters
These are registered voters who voted in (at least) the last 2 general elections.

The "Adults" consistantly score high marks for Obama, and are generally apathetic about politics, getting their info from the Talking Heads on TV. The latest AP poll has it 65% approval 32% disapproval.

Registered Voters are somewhat concerned with the political climate and score slightly lower for Obama at 58% / 33%. (Democracy Corps)

Likely voters, those who are more informed on the current events, have it at 57%/ 42%. (Rasmussen)

Every Republican President since Eisenhower had higher approval ratings than Obama, at this stage of their first term. Hell, even Carter had higher marks.
