Well I pulled my gen 6 502 apart and it does have JE pistons
Only problem is …it does not have the grooves for spiral locks.
What option do I have to run full floating wrist pins?
Can the grooves be cut in these pistons? Should I run a button?

Why do you want full floating pins?

I wanted to replace my stock rods with a set of H beams.

I guess my question should have been. how do I add H beam rods to
factory pistons without spiral lock grooves??

why would ya want too? you need to buy new pistons also, then have the entire rotating assembly balanced;) if you just throw in some h-beams and somehow hang them on o.e. pistons, that dude is gonna shake/vibrate the bearings outta the motor! do it right, do it once;)

Not sure if you can order aftermarket rods for press fit pins, but it's either that, or have your current pistons machined for locks. I'm sure a competant machine shop can do this, but you may just as well buy some new pistons. You can get some real nice pistons for right around $500 these days. You'll easily spend half that or more having yours machined for locks. Also, given the choice, I wouldn't go with spirolocks, I'd go with round wire locks.

pistons are forged JE so they should be good. and I will definitely
balance it no matter how I do it. :)

If I win the lotto I will do it right the first time, hell I would even build you a monster motor..
