He's not a big spender because he maintained the surge of spending before he took office at the lowest growth rate in the last 60 years.

Wow, so now you get credit for maintaining something that's broken and give yourself a pat on the back? The surge was stimulus, so what we've had 3.5 years of stimulus now? 8% unemployment yet? Nope, but soon with the total number of people that will be off the rolls. Also, where is the budget?

Here is the article, and OUCH!
Obama spending binge never happened - Rex Nutting - MarketWatch

IT's gonna take some massive undoing to fight this. This is a brilliant maneuver by O.
The GOP will have to point out that:
1. The last Bush budget included bailouts, etc., and some of them have been paid back. That $ was never credited to Bush, so O's numbers are even worse than stated.
2. You see the evil of baseline budgeting, a 1 yr. stimulus becomes an automatic 4 yr. stimulus. The audacity of O saying he hasn't raised spending much more than the original $1 trillion that he raised it.

It's simple really. Ask him how many dollars he's printed and spent since taking office. If he's blaming congress for spending, let's go back to the democrat-controlled 110th and 111th where things started this trend. Either way, this current spending spree is NOT on the heads of the GOP. KenyanKare will be the most expensive expenditure in the history of this nation and not a single republican voted for it. Rationalization may make him feel better but it doesn't change facts.
