Well, we sold the Nordic on Saturday. I gotta say, I was really bummed out to see it going down the road behind someone elses truck. But, I'm glad it went to a good family who will take care of it and enjoy it.

After the last 5 years of doing havasu for about a week a month from March through Oct. we are ready for a little break and some other vacation destinations. We're hoping to get another boat next year or the one after at the latest.

I'll feel kinda like a poser coming on here now without actually having a boat but what the hell!!! :)sphss

Well you have 2 choices. Get a Canoe or start hanging out in the Political forum. There are a couple of guys there that don't have boats. :D

But look at the money you can put in the bank now. Don't you have some friends that have boats that you can go on???

I actually admire you. If I didn't have these damn boats, I'd have a lot more money in my pocket! ;)

We had the opposite problem for a while - we bought the Cheetah before we sold the Tahiti, and then bought the Advantage as well.... we had three boats for a while. This does really lock us in to the Havasu scene, but we've been coming here for almost 15 years, and now that we are down to one it seems limiting.

Enjoy your new vacation destinations!

Thanks for making me feel better guys! We'll still be out there a few times a year because we have the house out there. Plus, we will still be going out on my parents Fountain from time to time. This is more of a hiatus, we'll be back at it after a little while. Hope to see ya'll this summer!

Dan, bummed but I did it a few years back too. It was actually nice to do something different for a bit. But I couldn't stay away after 2 years and needed something. Hope to see you guys out there at some point. Tell the family Hi for us!
Thanks Chris, I remember how bummed you were when you sold the Nordic... I hate to say it but we're seriously considering buying a pontoon next. Hope you guys are doing well! BTW, is your site back up?
