These aren't very good quality but here they are. Most were taken at St Petersburg. And a few from Miami.

Midget drove for Doc Marvin in the SK-50 "Coldfire" when I was building the engines. Julian had retired it from K racing, now Straton owns her. Good to see Rick's still around, those were the good old days for sure! I'm certainly glad for this forum as it brings back lots of memories.

John,
Midget did not drive for D. Marvin. I did.

SS-5 Sew What...Revenge

Here you go...

I'd love to know what happened to that boat. I'm crewing on the sister boat (SS60) to that one. Major difference being it was laid up with a ski deck.

Orange yellow Shark is making it's return this weekend! Waites Lake Washington Winona Beach Resort! And yes, there is a conflicting race at Soap Lake Wa. So go out and support one or the other ! Better take a bar of Soap to wash things down from that mineral bath lake!

Hey there Mike! Late and too old to even log on! The boat or the owner failed miserably at Waites Lake last Sept 2020! The boat torque steered so badly I had to limp around @ 55 mph!! I made the wrong changes it would seem! I took steering stabilizers off and went to a LH prop as original! Still love this boat! Not its fault I go backwards at times! Need my former Crew !

The bottom picture is for Gordon Jennings Jr! I did use the down pedal ONCE! But it slowed me down to last place!!!;)
Reading this thread has really made my day. Paul Stratton was my grandfather and I’m scouring the internet for old racing photos. Thank you all!

They run better right side up you know. How is the white north been treating you? From posting these pics you must be thinking of warmer weather.
