I guess this was all the arrests they had????? If so it seems the deterrent factor did the job???? Yes, no?

I heard there were a bunch of 5-0 at this one. Two friends on seperate boats got pulled over. They were both tested and passed. But they said there were more 5-0 at this one than they have seen in the past.
And no accidents reported? Hmmm....:)coffee
We cruised through there. Quick safety check. There were camera men taping the officer go through his check list. A camera man came up and took photos of the kids wearing there jackets in the boat. I did ask the officer if my wife could take a breathalizer test, which he thought would be fun for the cameras. So my wife tested 2.5 times the legal limit, while I was .00 We had a groop of about 15+ officers watching and laughing along with us. Good times:D

My math must be fuzzzzy.. I only come up with a .20

Everything within reach. :D

Good for you guys. That's the way to do it. Party responsibly!
My math must be fuzzzzy.. I only come up with a .20
.08 would be legally drunk
.016 would be 1 times over the legal limit
.024 would be 2 times over
.028 would be 2.5 over.

Isn't this how they figure it. :)sphss

I think I may have it wrong though.
Is it different on the water??? I came up with 0.16 (.08x2)
He said 2.5 the legal limit.

I think Southocg is right with the .20 :)hand

Am I wrong, I thought if you get a [OUI] or any thing like it in a boat, It would be like doing the same in a car here in CA. jail time, big fines, AA meeting, Loose your drivers license, Insurance, Your life, ect, ect, ect.???:)Unsure:confused:
Your all wrong.

.08 would be legally drunk, equal to times 1
.16 would be 2 times over the legal limit
.24 would be 3 times over
.28 would be 3.5 over.

Or you could use a calculator,
.28 / .08 = 3.5

.08 X 2.5 = .20

Anyway you do the math she was wasted.

I thought they were the same also. But I also thought the underage drinkers only got tickets, not arrested.

Actually, you're wrong. It's .08, not .8
Carry on with the math.......

Didn't even check it, copied it from above to save time. Thanks.

I've seen kids being hooked up in the channel and taken away. One time this lady was yelling at the cop that she was the mom of the kid being taken away and that she said it was ok for him to drink. :)sphss They should have taken her also. :)devil

Thanks for throwing me under the bus. :|err :D
Now that we've all had our math lesson for the day.... :D

I think we can safely say, she was focked up.. :)sphss

On another note, one day on the channel back in March a bunch of were focking around with a
breathalizer... I blew a .14 (not driving) and few others that blew in that range as well.
I can honestly say I didn't feel drunk. I was happy, but certainly not drunk.

Keep that in mind when your out boating and your not feeling drunk but just happy.
Chances are, your headed to jail should you get stopped.
