Ovaltine didn't used to be " New Chocolatie" like they advertise now.
It was a thick malted drink, touted as a energy sports drink in the 1950's, but has been around much longer.
Tasted kinda like waterlogged cereal with soft glass chunks floating in it.

It's obviously re-formulated for kids now, hence the 'New Chocolaty Ovaltine" commercials.

Nestle got into huge trouble when they sold the US Govt baby formula powder that was nothing more than zero nutritional value powdered non fat milk.
The USA gave the so-called formula to 3rd world countries in free food aid programs.
So when Nestle' got caught, part of the penalty agreement with the US govt was not being able to introduce new products into the US for about a decade.
Nestle is foreign. The Swiss Govt locked up the entire Nestle Executive management over the baby formula fiasco.
