I happy for ya. My boating summer is sucking big time right now. blown head gasket, cracked head and the shop its at have been idiots for 2 weeks. When I took it to them they said they could fix it in 3 days, 4 days later (last Fri) I hadn't heard from them so I called. "Oh we were going to call you to see if you wanted us to fix the crack", is what they said. I told 'em that's why I brought it to you last Mon. and told you that's exactly what I wanted done. I called 'em yesterday afternoon (they didn't call me) and was told its still not done. I'm headed down there today (9 working days later) to pick it up whether it is or isn't done and take it elsewhere. Suppose I'm not headed to Apache Lake for my weeks vacation. Heck, I might take my kids to Cali (Magic Mtn ) for a couple days. You going to be home? Might hit the Co. River on the way home.

That's too bad about your boat.Should not take that long to repair. Yes, we will be around, give me a call if you head this way. The beer is cold at my house.

Bad beat Rob

Sorry to hear about your troubles with your motor getting fixed. I know alot of us here like to do our own work. However when Phil Bergeron was building my motor complete, everything was done on time. I do know he had to send my heads out to get redone. If you would like I can ask who did them for me. I Just like knowing that everything is done the right way, and it sounds like the shop you took your heads to are giving you the run around. There's no time for that this time of year and they should know that.

You know I haven't been out in awhile. So if your going out let me know and we can take my boat. Take it easy man, give me a call when you can.

I'm picking up my head today

I took my kids to Magic Mountain last Mon & Tues, headed to Needles and Bullhead Weds AM. Put Pergo flooring in a buddy's river house and boated twice. Saw the fireworks at AVI casino Sat night GREAT!!!!
