Parker Walmart opened this morning for any of the Parker peeps.
I was there at 7:30 when they opened to rush the Ammo section,great supply
unlike Havasu Walmart.Everytime i hit Havasu they are out of most ammo.
Parker was limiting to 6 boxes per person so atleast i still got 600 rounds of
.223
Hope they keep the supply up & prices down.

As soon as Wall Mart pulled the permits Safeway started offering water by the case, Gatorade by the case, large family size bags of potato chips, much expanded selected selection of family size snacks ect.

It's all good.

I don't shop at big box stores, but like all the locals we went to the new Wal Mart and checked it out last night. It is a beautiful store and should be a big draw to Parker. Too bad it is on Indian land, and there will not be any sales tax revenue for the town.

Congrats on the .223 purchase, I bet it was all gone by 7:45am!!! It is good that they're limiting people to 6 boxes as there were guys from "some" gun stores heading to Walmart and cleaning their stock out, taking it back to their store and selling it for double or triple the price!!!

nazi basta*ds, will not shop there, will still go to safeway when i need something, usually bring stuff to river with me..

All walmarts are limiting to 6 boxes a person.

I tried to buy 10 boxes of 40S&W at the walmart in bullhead and was told they only have 8 left in stock and could only sell me 6.

Im curious if it applies to 6 boxes of the same type or total.

I need to pickup some .223 as well as 40S&W and will do so if it is in stock next weekend.

Nice to know amo is available in Parker now.

Everytime I have to go into a wallmart I feel the need to shower afterwards...

It's a Walmart. Yeah it's new. Yeah it's new to the area.

But it's still just a Walmart. And a relatively small one, at that.

The town doesn't get sales tax, since it's outside city limits, but at least the County does.

It'll be interesting to see if they can keep employees. Parker isn't known for a large base of workers with decent work ethics.

Walmart is not know to possess great workers, it should be a great fit!

They put it on the Rez?? You do know your white ass has no Civil Rights on the Rez. I went to Payson on Sunday, gas on the rez was $2.84 a gallon, around the corner it was $2.48. 1/2 mile away. I don't and won't spend a dime on the rez.

I hope the employees at Parker wally world speak English. If not, I am going to Safeway. I don't shop at stores where I can't communicate with the workers. My list of English speaking stores in AZ is getting shorter

Next door nieghbor at the river got a job there at night as a stock guy, he is pretty happy he got a job but has tryed to quit 3 times already from having to work with slugs.

Here is a picture of the opening taken by a friend of mine, Ted Sutton...

The photo is posted on a new(?) website www.parkerliveonline.com. The site has all the local news on it and the best thing I read was...RIVERSIDE DRIVE IS FINALLY GETTING REPAVED!!! What a mess that has been for all of us over there. Can anybody confirmed it ACTUALLY happened? I'm heading to the house next week...sure would be nice!
