I just wanted to say Thank You to my grandfather who served our Country in Pearl Harbor. He was lucky enough to make it out of there alive and un-injured. I was lucky enough to get to spend the first 20 years of my life with him and I'm very thankful for that. He is the one who gave my Mom, brother, and me our passion for boating. My thoughts are with all the families that had someone involved.

Remembering the "Day of Infamy"

Glad to see some recognition for one of Americas greatest tragedies. My grandfather's naval battlegroup was also there, immediately afterwards for search and rescue.

Most recently, in fact just last month my wifes Aunt and Uncle who are diving instructors were chosen by the US Parks Department to dive on the USS Arizona Memorial 'wreck' which is pretty much off limits to any diving activity. The USP does annual dives to document the condition of the memorial and they have professional divers assist them in their work to get the job done. My wifes family was chosen due to their dedication to the diving industry for more than 50 years! We are very proud of them and they have said that the opportunity was one of great pride and emotion as their grandparents were also involved in WWII.

Thank you to all who serve and their families. :))THumbsUp

Who also remembers the at the same time on the east cost Germany declared war on the US and actually brought the war to our coast and sank many merchant and some war ships with the U boats. They got the advantage on us because the US was pre occupied with the bombing on Pearl Harbor but we got them back!! Thanks to all that have faught for our country and continue to do so!!
