By the sounds of it, you're probably going to have to play around with the shoe/ride plate set-up. It's probably be best to get the droop installed before spending a lot of time on it though. Since I don't have a shoe on mine, I really won't be able to give too nany suggestions on what to do.spooned bottom, loader, shoe, ride plate and I need to install the droop
that's a real good indication of something hanging down too low below the keel. It could be the shoe, the loader or possibly both. The leading edges of the loader shouldn't be below the keel line. The shoe, as I mentioned will probably need to be adjusted up so it's not digging in so hard. Lots of fine tuning will be needed to get it right and it sounds like you need to do it.it feels like hitting the the brakes and wants to turn left hard, if you dont let off slow it would throw you out
thanks Tom! I just got lucky on the set-up. It ran good enough for what it is the first time out so I haven't touched the set-up since. I think I might lower the ride plate a little though. it's about 5º up right now, going to lower it to 4. I had a couple of squirily rides last year.Originally Posted by hydroman916
