September is the best time for Powell, IMO, traffic down, temp is down, water still warm.

A group of about 4 boats so far, is heading up river on the 11th & 12th in search of great beach.

Any one else going up around then, stop by and give a shout.

We'll be looking for the same great beach up near Oak Canyon...leaving Antelope Point Marina, in our houseboat with the Kachina in tow, on Sept. 12th :D

NICE!!:D

Maybe we'll see ya there. We usually camp around the 35 mile marker. I've been lashed for giving the spot up before.:D

Looks like everyone had an aweful time. How was the weather? Where did you stay?
Weather was nice, it seemed a little warm for Sept. Wind and rain a little for a couple days. I like the rain, can do without the wind.

I know you know the lake, so, lets just say we stayed around the 35 mile mark.:D
