Poker Runs West kick off for 2009 will be April 4 in Sacramento. This will be a run, a party, a meeting, special prize drawing and lots of fun and games. Boating action is the plan but if your boat is not ready or you don't like the weather--come by car, truck, train or plane

SCHEDULE: Morning------meet at Old Sac docks
Noon---------Scotts for lunch
Afternoon----------Schwabies
5-7----------Embassy Suites cocktail hours
6-8-----------Suite reception party at Embassy

EMBASSY: Rooms at Embassy start at $132----------we will have a special suite
rented for the SUITE RECEPTION PARTY-------if the turnout is too big we
will host the party in a different area at the hotel.

PURPOSE: Blow out the cobwebs, good food, good friends, get input on schedule,
review SHASTA & TAHOE big events, discuss possible SACRAMENTO RIVER
RACING event return, generate more rumors and start the mayhem again.

COST: $30.00 per person

Docks are all cleared with the city.

Verified with the city on the Old Sac docks today. If you want to leave your boat there overnight you are on the "honor system" to put payment in the box on the docks as they do not staff the docks until sometime in May.

Scotts has been notified to expect us so that is set as well.

The hospitality suite is all set up and there will be "refreshments" available. Remember that Embassy has free cocktails from 5-7 for guests and a great free breakfast also.

Give some thought to contacting companies or individuals you know that could help sponsor a SACRAMENTO RIVER RACING WATERFRONT FESTIVAL. We will discuss this during our short meeting.

A Poker Run has been added to this fun events with stops at Scotts, Riverboat Bar, Schwabbies, Embassy Bar and at hospitality party.

Rooms are very inexpensive compared to costs of DUI. Plus you can have breakfast with us. WHAT A DEAL.................
