A long time ago I took a 20' length of chain hooked to a 2" ball put into a piece of flat metal. It worked like magic with my old k boat, it didn't really have any toung weight though. We'd just push the trailer in by hand, and pull it out with the chain/truck. I know it's not really what you asked but I thought I'd throw it out there. Edit; I'd do this from the shore not the ramp, came in real handy one time I wound the anchor rope up around the dl.

Usally we camp at river lodge on the strip. The ramp is not real steep. We would be pulling out a cp a flatty and a see do. probably just gona buy an old jeep. Sometimes i go by myself and don't like leaving the moho sitting on the ramp for 5 minutes, just dosn't look right. (If you know what i mean)

I use my Polaris Ranger to launch mine (19').
I've launched seadoo's and seadoo boats as well with it. Our ramp is pretty shallow though.
There's only one way to find out;)
