Skippers check your PMs for cell if you need it , The GE is among a very few jets that can be easily serviced by leaving the entire suction in /attached to the hull , after you pull the steering and the bowl the bearing cap can be removed and slid FWD then remove the bearing snap ring and the entire shaft assy with bearing and seal pack exits to the rear , if you have done all this its liklely/possible that the D/L splines are stuck on the pump shaft or its just being stubborn Tom

Aside from the suction, the only parts reused are the bearing cap and inspection cover. Also check to make sure the seal carrier from the kit is the proper size. Although the energizer kits are virtually identical, the standard YJ uses a slightly smaller OD seal carrier, the Golden Eagles seal carrier is the same OD as the thrust bearing, this is what allows the assembly to be removed from the rear.

I hope you have better lucj outta your energizer kit than we do, it was a shot in the dark for us, but at least now my dad can throw a rooster tail like the rest of the crew. It seems like it helped the takeoff, VERY LITTLE, but, it does seem a lil better, it may be that we dont have the right impeller, ours has a B cut, but it was cut wrong if that makes sense. the impeller was cut deeper on the wear ring side of the exit veins. too hard to describe in words, so good luck!!!
