So whats the latest scoop in regards to getting on pyramid on the weekend? I haven't been up there in years but last time I was there, we got up there around 10am and ended up not getting on the water until like 2pm because the lake was at max capacity on boats/jet skis. At that point we they were only letting one boat on, when one boat would come off.

Is this still the case? Do we need to get up there super early in order to get in line? If so, how early is early?

Thanks

Boat inspections

I heard that Pyrimid is just like Castaic, Piru, and Castias with the dam muscle. They are doing boat inspections, and dont really care where you came from. They maybe a little crazy so drain the water and dont put ice in your cooler if it draines to the boat!!! My buddy got turned away from Pyrimid because he had ice in the cooler that drained into the boat. He was not happy that day!!!!

I just wonder who brought this muscle over??? The Crazy Fisherman??

My boat is tagged for castaic / piru / pyramid so I'm not worried about the inspection. I was more worried about the lines to get in on a sunday.

Normally you have to be there early for Pyramid. Last year I was there on the 4th and there were maybe 20 boats on the lake all day. My guess is, this year will probably be the same.
