My question is about a camper shell modofication. I chose this forum because I thought the members here would understand fiberglass stresses better than most others I could find.
I have restored a 29 year old truck and they no longer make a camper shell that fits it. The closest size I could find is 1.5 inches too long and I need to remove the length from the front section of the shell and bond the two pices back together. I have extensive cabinetry and woodworking skills and a good amount of autobody experience, but have never worked in fiberglass before. Can you recommend books, manuals or advise for me to complete this work? I hope I'm not intruding with a off topic subject but if it is any consolation, a boat restoration is the next project once this is done. Thanks in advance.
