Something about the rain in the desert that is just awesome. Love to go out and smell the fresh rain coming down.

I love summer rain storms......especially with lightning. We used to vacation in the summer in Tampa/Clearwater, Florida.....supposed to have more lightning then any where in the US.



The beaches on the gulf would clear, and we would watch these great lightning/thunder shows from our beach front hotel room....amazining!!

F'ed up my day pretty well. Was looking forward to spending a few hours on the water before heading home. Rained like hell at the Shack and put the skids on that. Monsoons are supposed to roll in in the afternoon, provide entertainment throughout the night, and be clear in the morning. I get no entertainment from watching it rain in the morning....:|err

Rained hard here in needles watched it come in from the east.
I talked to a guy at the PG&E compressor station at topock
they got two lightning hits on the exhaust stacks small fire . we came
out ok not a good thing to take a strike in a natural gas sta.
