I'm looking for recommendation for someone to sandblasted and paint a trailer. I looked through old threads and someone chimed in about KTM trailers that did everything for $1200. Are they still in business, does anyone have their contact, or is there someone else out there that someone could recommend. Oh yeah, anywhere from Riverside to San Diego.

There is a paint shop up here in the bay area that will sandblast, prime, and paint your trailer for $500.00. They use a paint called tnemic and it lasts forever. You might want to look in the phone book under industrial coatings, it seams like they will paint a trailer pretty cheap.Good luckChris

Not sure who is in your area but I had my trailer sandblasted and powdercoated for $450. I am pleased with the outcome. Tough stuff

What size trailer? Stripped/masked and ready for sandblast or complete and requiring disassembly/reassembly etc. Do you want it sandblasted and painted or just cleaned/scuffed for adhesion and re-top coated? What grade of paint? What condition is it in now? Need some repairs or mods? All things that directly effect quality and cost. Tnemic paint is definetly good stuff but pricey too, is industrial grade so finish may not lay down as nice as you like but primer is definently durable and stinky as hell to shoot. Powder coating is good option too if done correctly but junk and expensive if to repair if not. If you would like to discuss this further fell free to pm me.

It is a triple axel low profile trailer for an 18 foot flatbottom. I was just really looking to get it sandblasted and repainted, but if you want to throw out a price to rewire it and put in new bearings I may have you do everything. I will probably pull the fenders and have them re-chromed myself. Sorry for the pic's I took them for someone that wanted to use the dolly that is sitting on it.

Wondering of good places as well. Does anyone have any pictures of powdercoated trailers? I know there are good paints out there but what do you guys prefer? Whats the cost differences and so on?

When i did mine I called around and I was quoted $1000+ by most places. Not only that but i had to disassemble it and deliver it. I finally called a local place, showed them the trailer and they quoted me $700 and that included them picking it up and delivering it. I still had to disassemble it but i wanted to do that anyway to make sure everything was coated, plus i was putting in new lights/springs/bearings/etc. My trailer came out looking great. My opinion, find a cheap shop that will blast it, prime it, and coat it (priming is important!), it's a trailer it doesn't need a show quality job.

I know there is a shop in Stockton that does them reasonably. I had mine done a few years back, blasted and painted for about $600. McCutchen's if I remember right.
