"Fundraising and cash in the bank will be important to the GOP if Republicans are to mount an effective ground war to help their presidential nominee next year."

Hmm, methinks this story is a just a technique, to make Rs remember to keep giving.

Ahh we got rid of the retard chairman who liked to party. The GOP better start doing it's job and stripping these Pinko RINOs of their credentials ,NOW! Like McQuiziling and his girlfriend Linseed Grahmessty, Snowe ,Collins and anyone with less than a 95% ACU rating.

Ha! That's pretty good !
Yeah Lets just have only the Jurassic era reactionary born again loons in the Republican party. That will really be a winning strategy for sure! Moderate Republicans need to regain party control from the right wing-nuts. Until that happens Obama and company will walk away with another Presidential win.

I wonder why they didn't post anything about the democrat party also being in debt today?

The real question is which party recently spent more money, borrowed against our children's future than any party has ever done previously in history. Were not talking million$ or even billion$ but trillion$.

Clue: The party held a majority in the senate, house and had their own personal Kenyan at the helm of the presidency. They also achieved the very worst approval rating in congressional history.

Many Conservatives will never donate to the republicans again based on the parties actions of candidate selection.

Pretty much the reason.

This is one conservative that will never contribute to the Republican Party. Why may you ask? Because they will never loose their "DC Beltway" thinking and way of doing party business. They will nominate the "next one in line" just like McCain, G.W.Bush and Bob Dole. They do not respond to what the Grass Roots wants. They just go about party politics and the Grass Roots be damned.....Hence the TEA Party.

I'm pleased to announce that the tides are turning rather quickly. I'm a Republican Precinct Committeeman here in Arizona. I ran for office solely because I felt the party needed reform to more TEA Party platform ideals than the old-school thinking as it was not conservative enough. We recently held our elections here in Arizona and the sole conservative running for Arizona Chairman dropped out of the race for health reasons near the eleventh hour. The remaining candidates were McCain type RINOs and without much of a fight at all the party found and wrote in an appropriate TEA Party conservative. He was elected and most of the officers were selected in the exact same manner. If you are in the middle of the road, you are about to be run over. We are quickly becoming the party of the TEA Party conservative grass-roots principals because that's what the people of America clearly want and it's what our government needs at the helm. I don't believe Arizona is unique this way! It's happening everywhere across the country.

Doc, Do you know how far Az is from the beltway? And I'm not talking miles here. The impression I got after the November Shellacking is that those in the beltway all stood around patting each other on the back congratulating themselves on what a great campaign they ran and America loves us. They are still clueless and the way things seem to be shaping up in Congress they may be in for a rude awakening come 2012....JMO

Read the article, democrats have 1 million in the bank....

And the Republicans had nothing to do with that spending!! Come on.
It's on both sides..

Below is the last paragraph of "your" posted article........Must have had a big January if it's swung $16M. I missed where the DNC has $1m.

The Democratic National Committee was about $15 million in debt as of December, the Associated Press reported

Funny part is that in spite of the OP statement about Palins' wardrobe, dismantling the entrenched Rep. "Good old Boy" network is the first thing She did in AK when elected Gov.
Do some research, She gutted their slush funds and eliminated a bunch of perks.

Thank you Tex!

I've not read enough of your posts to jump on this with both feet so I'll simply say this:
The Democrats are FULLY responsible for all the deficit spending over the past two years. With the majority to support their arrogance and keep anything from checking and balancing them, they did exactly what they wanted. Did you pay any attention to their passage of KenyanKare? Not a single republican in the country voted for that atrocity of legislation and they were labeled "the party of no." They will, however vote to repeal it. "Yes they can!"
Let's be fair and give credit, where credit is due. This past November America spoke loud and clear. They want two parties of NO!
