There is another promo going on at restaurants.com for the 80% off again like they had in December. Promo code is: NAPKIN

Just $275 worth of certs for $22, and Ive used them in the past. They work very well. Just used one in oceanside yesterday for a restaurant on the water. Bill was $29, cost me $6 including the price of the coupon (plus tip).

I was actually gonna do a search for the promo code. Going to the theatre tonight and am looking for a nice dinner before downtown. $4 for a $50 gift certificate is a huge savings for two people on date night.

Thanks ~ These things work great!

Do the certs expire?

Going to be doing a trip to San Diego at the end of the month and this looks like a killer deal...
They are considered the same as a gift card, since you paid for it, & gift cards have no expiration date according to California law. Just bought 4 $25 gc's for my favorite little mexican hole in the wall & paid $8.00. Does this qualify as my "stimulus relief?"

I hear ya, but my current GF totally whines about the cost of everything, even when I pay and try to tell (divorced MILF who's has a deadbeat ex and is struggling to make ends meet). This way we can go somewhere nice and enjoy ourselves.

Is there a limit to how many certs you can use per visit? Just had dinner last weekend at Ma Kai Santa Monica with some friends to the tune of $800. Wish I would have known!

That's true for CA. Most of the ones I buy are for Havasu and there only good for one year.

Also, make sure you read the fine print.

Gratuity added to pre discount bill.

Drinks not included.

Must purchase a predeterimened amount of food (in dollars) to use. i.e., Don't plan on using a $50 gift cert to cover dinner for two unless you're spending over a c-note in food.

Place sucks, as Polar Bear stated read the fine print. nothing but hassles from that company.
I use these a lot and have never had a hassle of any kind. Most say 18% will be added but your paying that already. Well some of us do. None have every added it but I have had many friendly reminders to tip on the total before the discount. Not a problem to me. Numerous times I've wanted to order meals that don't meet the min. Was told with a smile that as long as it was close it was ok. Some do count the total bill encluding drinks, some only count soft drinks, some no drinks at all. One in Havi actualy says it's up to the server whether to count drinks or not. Closetest I ever came to any hassle was at Shuegur's Tuesday before last. Waitress politly pointed out that I shouldn't use the coupon as the steaks were alrealy 1/2 off. If she took it, the $25 would come off the reg price.
