there is a rumor floating around the spokane wa. area that there was a revenge k29 boat that was just found. do any of you v-drivers have any pics of this boat. i also heard that the deal was a real steal, or rather i should say this boat was stolen with what the price was paid. also from what i hear there is a number of people who are trying to make a deal for this boat. all i can say is that the person who found this boat is keep it and restore it back to the way it was when it was first raced. i know that it will take sometime. i cannot wait tell i see you great find 5-o . i am jealous

This is kinda true.

This boat MIGHT have been a K 28. I picked this boat up in Great Falls Montana. I got some info on this and encourage any more if anyone has some. BTW thank you very much Jerry for the lightning fast pics and info. And Billy for the paint info. Im still not home and only have limited shots with a very crappy camera. I couldnt take it so I picked up some sand paper and started cutting into a couple areas that will need repairs. So far Im only finding silver metal flake gel. Here are some shots of the HIN and K-28 EPIDEMIC stamped into the transom. The floors are solid but will need a bit of love. The bulk head is the worst of the mess. You gotta love the through hull holes put into it as well as the saddle tank fit behind the gunnel supports. Also gotta like the lifted trailer. Keep in mind this is after two baths, sliding the boat onto the trailer all the way, taking off the fender poles held on with roofing screws etc etc.

As far as a good deal? Who knows, but now I will need to remodel the bathroom for taking the wife, infant, four year old and dog 500 miles round trip out of the way to look at a boat.

We just rebuilt a boat that was laid up with K-28 in the transom. We talked to Bob and he said he sold a few different boats that he was laying up for himself before he ever finished them. Hence the reason that K-28 was in the transom of boats that he never raced. Either way that is way cool. Weather or not he raced it, it is special just by having those numbers in it. WAY COOL! You will have to take lots of pictures as you restore it. Good luck getting the history of the boat.

That K28 that was in the you tube video was up here in Canada. Owned by Norm Phillips, then Peter Duff (became Can Am 93), Peter sold it to Dave Woods and now Bob Zabady owns it and is now PS 555. Unless there were two identical paint schemes like that.

Don't ever remember Norm Phillips owning that boat. I was pretty sure Peter Duff bought the Epidemic right from Bob Goettle. Norm Phillips had the Darkside of the Moon renamed Moon Walker and than sold to Norm Woods. Tim
