Anyone know of any killer deals on Parker lots, trailers, or a house on or near the waterfront? Lots of peeps bailing on those extras these days.

Check out Blue Water Lagoon in Parker. Get a hold of a real estate agent there. Betty Hunter realty. Some really great deals in there and it is right on the water. Happy hunting.

not in parker but down river below water wheel there is a great waterfront place with a dock, double wide, garage in the back. i think they want 120k. it's about 4 spots up river from ours and it's a cool place. only downside is the fact that you don't own the land, it's a lease through CRIT

Just curious how that all works? I mean how long is the lease for?

the lease is year to year. very inexpensive as well. there are some legal issues going on that have been in the court system for a long time which could go either way. the legal issues have stemmed from the owners at water wheel feel they don't have to pay higher rent and crit feels they need to renegotiate a higher rental rate. i am not privvy to all the facts but i know some people are worried CRIT will take their right and evict people from their spots, other people say that will never happen and the land will eventually be deeded back to the renters. a lot of rumors have been floating around. i pay my rent and enjoy the river, without completely sticking my head in the sand. but for the money, if the legal issues subside, it will be a smoking deal on a waterfront home. i know, a lot of "ifs" for 120k

i can't speak for the whole river but a large portion of the places are on indian land. like wisheiknew said, a lot of people are under the impression the indians are going to win and we are going to get the boot. i have no idea. i inherited the place and would miss it to death if i ever lost it but i wouldn't be out a huge chunk of change. ah quin down river from us is on indian land and they are in the process of building a massive storage unit, i would think they know more than i and wouldnt dump a bunch of cash on a place that will be vacant any time soon. or, they know rent will go sky high and only high rollers will be there who can afford to store their 100k boats.

Betty sold my parents their place in Parker about 3/4 a mile up from Badnochs in 1971. Betty and Doug lived right across the street. :)

There's a waterfront mobile at Bransons available. Sign in the window was asking $110 I think. I think her rent was 300-400 a month.

Check out Rio Buena Vista in Needles, you can get waterfront with house for around 465k and you own the land. Or you can go golf course for 220k only 100yards from beach, or an interior lot with house for around 185k. We have one there and like it alot and no indian issues.
