Do intake screens under the carb adapter screw up the carb metering signal on a Roots 6-71 blower? I thought I read somewhere that it might mess air flow up. This is for a BBC 468, dual 850s on a Kuhl inline adapter, stripped 6-71. 5-7 lbs boost lake cruiser build. More endurance than max effort. I plan to run either spark arrestors or K and N filters in a Basset scoop turned backwards GN style.
It's always a great idea to run a screen with Dominator carbs to catch under carb linkage parts should they vibrate loose . I ditched the screen and now run safety plates under the carbs , but as guys stated above didn't notice any difference and doubt it matters unless your nit picking on the dyno
