since my boat is so long i wanted to look into getting a rudder for it to be a little easier to control around marinas and launch ramps. but i went on CP performances website and i noticed it said an option for the place diverter. being that i dont have a place diverter, is there anywhere that sells one that can be put on without a place diverter? also is it worth it to get an aftermarket loader scoop? how hard are they to install? thanks.

I don't think anyone makes a loader for the YJ. There really are no performance options for the YJ unless you do the energizer kit. The rudder is probably not going to help you. Personally I would not spend the money on a rudder. You are bound to break it off on the ramp or while the boat is on the trailer. You'll be hard pressed to find a used one since the always get broken.

If you are determined to get one you could contact North American Marine Jet. They still produce the YJ pump.

OEM Rudders are available and cheap for YJ although theres what appears to be an area for one no one has ever produced a rudder for WJ (seen alot of crazy DIY's deals , Place diverter for YJ can only be added withan energizer and not sure anyone (myself included) is currently offering loaders for Jacuzzi's Tom

i cant remember where but i saw posts that had a site or name of someone with a "angle iron" loader for the yj. i read it within the last 2 monts on this forum. it cought my eye because i have a golden eagle. it may even have been on a thread i startedbulb

Although they share loads of similar parts the Golden Eagle and YJ take different loaders/intake grates Tom
