According to inside sources, the Sacramento Kings will soon be moving south to join Southern California's residents and the Anaheim Ducks. As for the renaming of the team, this is still pending.

This has been a huge topic up here! IMO, if the Queens move to So-Cal, it will be the death of that franchise. First, there would then be 3 NBA teams in a market that only cares about and supports 1 (The Lakers). Second, we're talking about "The Kings"...... not forgetting for a moment they are/were a huge conference rival and I'd guess 99.99% of So-Cal'ers hate them and moving the team down there isn't going to change that, no matter what they change their name to! Third, does Orange County even care about anything other than Angels Baseball and USC Football anyway??
