I've got a strainer. Not sure if it's a Sea Strainer or anything fancy like that or if it's even what you're talking about. But it looks like a modified air compressor dryer. And it supposedly works great and keeps lots of shit out of the engine. But I haven't run the boat since I bought it, so I don't know. Just telling you what I've been told. Hope this helps and good luck.

That's it mounted on the other side of the pump with the two hoses attached to it and says MSD on the front of it because I used a coil mount to attach it. Is that what you're talking about?

my brothers got one on his blown 22 donzi, and i see every offshore boat runs them pretty billet ones.....im just thinking about it because where i boat towards middle summer the hydrilla (i think thats how you spell it) gets pretty damn bad and with my old boat i have sucked up so much of that chit it would clog the pump and i would have to jump over board and pull out. i just always wondered how much chit actually makes it into the motor water passages......

They better have some pretty strong glass in them. Your pump puts out very hi pressure at wide open throttle.
dont care if you can see the screen i can check it, my requirements pretty, functional. if i can see it even better

This is mine, one for the block and one for the headers...WARNING...it's plastic cover will blow apart under high pressure.
My block never sees more then 11 psi > I've used this type for years and years and years!
And YES...it will stop sand!

Sea strainer if you have an intercooler. Otherwise not needed IMHO. But that HO is based on where I boat.

Hehe. Hey that's mine. Thanks.

I know it is, I have just about all your pics saved, your boat is bitchin' and the fact that it's done in your garage makes it even more bitchin'
