Poker Runs West SHASTA RAT ATTACK was accident free and fun for all----well the few that braved the weather anyway. Rain, wind, cold, thunder and lightening was on tap from Wed through Saturday morning. A handfull of brave souls made the tow and unless they are lying to me had a good time.

Registration fees were waived, helicopter was grounded, bbq was cancelled but fun on the lake was had Saturday afternoon and in the bar and on the docks at night. Every participant got special PRW bags, embroidered towels and gifts from Mcquiars marine finish's. Top poker run hand was won by Tami and Brent from Bend Oregon earning them the PRW 2009 SPECIAL EDITION TOMMY BAHAMA COLLECTOR WATCH.

Silverthorn Resort, Bridge Bay Resort and Jones Valley were all wonderful hosts. The lake is still coming up and we may make another trip up if we can find time what with all the new stuff we will be announcing within a week or so.

Thanks to all who braved the weather and made the effort to play in this beautiful area.

Special thanks to SILVERTHORN RESORT for their hospitality and cool houseboat condo lodging they made available. SHASTA RAT ATTACK WILL RETURN IN 2010.

Dave Stone "Dr. Evil" was there and did have the fastest boat on the lake. When it was raining on Saturday morning Dave snuck out of Silverthorn towning his boat behind Demetri's houseboat "Russian Roulette". I Heard later that Dave chose to cocktail it all day, and night, and I did not see him again. His loss though as the rest of the guys seemed to have fun. There were only six brave souls who made the trip in the rain.

It was a great time even with the weather and we will probably be going back up, possibly over Labor Day.

With the rain and the helicopter grounded few photos are suitable for posting even the night time ones...............
