This is normally our early and late season destination as it is always (usually) better weather conditions than it is up here in Oregon. It was pretty bleak water conditions this year though. Being a snowmobiler also I'm hoping for some northern California weather blasts soon also! It's gotta come eventually. ...Right?

Yea through the winter I tend to check water levels at most lakes often , remember a few years back when Shasta came up huge amounts ..... Hoping for a big winter also

If the rain keeps coming like it is it will get much faster than that. I was there in the mid 90s after 13 days of heavy rain and saw the lake come up 17 1/2 ft in 12 hrs. That was a record that still stands I think.

No he doesn't understand. F14 & WinSleep were home playing with each others vajay jays & didn't go to Shasta last year.
That's because we were nice enough to let some A-Hole borrow our boat.

I'm probably not going in 2015 either since it's a week later in the month and I have Kamloops the following weekend. :))ThumbsDwn
