I don't know if you remember the boat, but I have a question about a 76 Howard V Drive 21 I bought from a friend of yours from Canyon Lake. I forget his name, but it's a yellow and white cruiser and you were there when I took my test drive.

I was wondering if you remember what gears are in the C500. I have some receipts of work you did, but nothing on the vdrive. It has a nice little stainless Menkins three blade underneath which I think is cut all the way down to a 11x14. It's slipping pretty bad with more than three people in the boat. Going prop shopping (12X15 to start) but was wondering about the gears without having to crack the box.

Yes sir that was Travis & Bill Taites boat. I really don't remember what gear ratio they had, because that was a long time ago.
