So like a dumb ass, I striped a float bowl bolt body thread. While changing jets on a 4150. Can I use a regular 12-24 thread repair or do I need to use the $75.00 Holley repair stuff?

I have fixed them with a standard off the shelf 12-24 kit for around 20.00 and they worked just fine. The Holley kit is nothing special.
