Long story short I bought a vic. intake for a my tall deck. The guy who sold it to me said it was blasted and clear powder coated....he wasn't lying , it's cleared inside and out.

The mustang 5.0 guys were coating the entire heads, chambers runners, valve train areas, with the high temp stuff.

I honestly didn't know if that was o.k. Lately I haven't been too lucky.
mine is jethoted but it looks just like that. I guess the only thing I would be worried is the potential for the powercoat to flake. I venture to say it will be fine

just went through this on my boat, i dropped the blower manidold of to the powder coater and told him to coat it ... lol i guess i should of been, more specific he coated everything, i had to have the runners surfaces by bds. but i flipped a coin on the inside and ran it. just took my blower off at about 10rs run time and there is no flaking or pitting or any sighns of wear. my vote is run it....
