I have one- a 1974 supposedly. Nothing on the hull but a placard that reads "Starbuck Boats Denver, Co"

All I can find on them is that their was a law suit over boat design with a Sidewinder type of hull.

Mine is standard 70's design, looks like a million other jet boats out there.

Does anyone have any information on these boats, the builder, history, etc?

I just had a short telephone conversation with the builder. Thank you GFINISHLINE for the contact number.

I got a little bit of history of a couple of the hulls I am familiar with, and a bit of company info. I'll be meeting him the next time I am in LHC and hopefully talking him out of some memorabilia. :)

He also stated he was building a (shameless plug for a new friend) 30' tunnel called "Entrapment" that should run 70 with 380 HP on an outdrive.

I have a 1981evinrude contender that looks similar to the starbuck but I have never heard it called that until I searched for a pic of my boat on the internet. I am thinking about selling it. If anyone has any questions or comments I will have photos soon.
