The starter solenoid has 2 small posts, i used the one closest to the engine last go around but it's a pain in the ass to get too. Whats the outside post for?
12V ignition which bypasses the ballast resistor on a points deal...:)devil

I put in a 6 inch wire with a the easy connect male/female insulated spade to that same small post when the starter was out. It makes it alot easier then trying to get the nut off of that post for whatever reason!!

Ya thats what i'm going to have to do. I just didnt want to pull the starter, i already have it on and mounted and the f'ing stud wants to spin rather than the nut comming off.. Not enough room to grab the nut with a wrench.
Next time, Locktite 271, on all studs, when you install it.
