Like thats an easy one to run off with. Not to mention stashing away. If I had that I would have to pay some one to take it.

Well. My daughter told me today that her friends boat was stolen a few days ago. New locks or some bs at the storage yard. How does one just hook up to a boat with secure storage yards and just drive off??? No camera's or what??? And this was a big 22-23' people hauler.

We will be at Bartlett this weekend and keep our eyes open. I will be driving around the east valley all day tomorrow also. Good luck.

We live on the corridor to Lake Pleasant so we'll keep our eyes peeled for this one. This is so sad to see. The only way to make this better would be to catch the perps red handed. Oh, the joy!

WOW look at the number of boat that are stolen, Now I am not sure if this boat is still stolen But I would say most of us boaters would be able to find this one if they are still useing it today, Even if they changed colors you would still wonder maybe because tom stolarz at WPM did not build that many of them, But I would think it was for parts, Or insurance money for this one. http://www.boatman.com/images/RKlaarenbeek_stolen.pdf And for a list of alot of others with photos Look here, CA has a big number of stolen boats also. http://www.boatman.com/stolen2.htm

If a boat is listed in the stolen section, it is still outstanding. Look in the recovered boat section for what was found.

This is a photo of the Ford 351 engines in the stolen IMP.

That is sweet, should make a nice repower for a Pantera or old Ford Mach1.

Our friends boat was behind locked gates with a hitch lock. The perp's came in behind some one, went to the boat and cut the lock, hooked up and rolled on out the gate. No Camera's at the time.

I'm just gonna' be realistic. There are some tweakers out there and I mean HEAVY.

I was doing community service for some tickets years ago when I was a youngster and I'll never forget this clown who was telling stories of being a big time boat thief.

I don't know how possible this is but apparently he rented a warehouse in a rural/industrial part of town to store them. I asked him how he got around the serial numbers and he told me he cut out and re-glassed a transom with numbers from a wrecked vessel.. -DIRTY!!!!

They're out there just like professional car thiefs. I had my 1972 olds 442 convertible stolen suprisingly enough I got it back 3 years later completely restored lol

No telling the fate of these things, but sometimes there's a happy ending
