Looking at an Ultra 22 Stealth with a jet and 502... I'd appreciate for those that own or have ridden in them to post and let me know how the ride is in this boat in small to medium chop? I'll be mostly boating on the River rather than Havasu or Mohave, so I won't be dealing with big chops but can expect moderate from time to time on holiday weekends.
That Boat will be fine at Mohave,Parker and most lakes. Heavy Chop can be rough on many Boats-Cats under 25' But learning how to handle it will make you a better boater. Have fun. Most ultra'a are great boats.
I had a 2000 22 stealth with 454 I used it from Laughlin to Havasu, mohave and Parker. It's a great ride for the Laughlin, Gorge, Havasu area but you'll take a beating on Mohave and Parker. More of a single guys boat theres not much room for all the family stuff. There weren't many 22 stealths made, do you have pics? There great boats, the semi-v finally just took it out of me.:thumb:
Your post is about ruff water.... with that said ... a 22 has a lower freeboard than the 21 in the rear... the 22 is sleek and low in the rear as the 21 is bigger and boxier in the rear which would be more conducive to ruff water
Mike, I've ridden in a 22' Stealth on a pretty rough day. It handled the chop with no issues and we were none the worse for the wear. It the boat you are looking at is the blue 22 on Powerboatlisting.com that's a beaut. Good luck with the purchase. :thumb:
Thx for your posting... Yep, that's the one... but guess what? It says that it is already sold.
