Great seeing you guys.....

Thanks for the Ride to the sandbar on Friday. I actually wanted to ride in a couple of other boats this past weekend but yours was the only One I got to ride in. Thanks Again!!! It was a Blast

For those that don't know, Cam (Throttle) is an engineer with the Orange County Fire Auth, and puts on a Firefighter Fun Week. This year he had over 200 people attend, and it was an awesome time. He coordinates all the events (poker run, lunch run, dinners, etc), and really busts his ass to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
A huge thanks goes out to him for all his (and Jamies) work for putting on the event.

Great seeing you this weekend AJ. Cam and I have to come out to boat with you guys on your lakes.

Me, or AJ? Do you believe I took my boat down to Steamboat on Monday, and it ran perfect and smooth? Could be a lunch run to the Springs today.

AJ...I actually parked next to Ellabo and AJ had his canopy set up there. When he got back I moved over a couple spots.

When we drove by the group of them parked in the channel at Moabi, I yelled out "Cobras suck" as a joke. I was afraid later that night that there might be some satanic killing at my house Manson style or something. You'd have thought I had just spit on the bible or something.

Cam it was nice to meet you and Jamie. Had a great time at the Springs for lunch

And whats up with the parking at the Nautical? I went out for the day, left my chairs sand spike come back someone was in my spot. I told them that was my stuff I have been parked here all weekend. they told me they are not moving. You can't save your spot. I was pissed and they were getto so I found another spot... whatever...Had a great time anyways

Always has been an issue on wether you can save a beach spot. Problem is when someone sets up camp and then only uses it late in the day. Ties up a spot even though it isn't being used. Parking is limited so it will always be a problem.

I remeber years ago in the channel someone trying to save a spot. Shadow goes to pull in and they tell him the spot is saved. He tells them bullshit, you can't save spots in the channel. They tell him too bad and move their chairs further to block the spot. Darrell just hit the throttle, and ran them over. Classic..........

If I was in somebody spot and they showed up I would move and say thanks and find another spot....But that just me

AJ, it was great having you on the boat Friday! I am always happy to share a good time... the sandbar, the channel and that nite in the cove on the beach were great! Upstair in the ac was nice too!

thanks for the kind words, I enjoy seeing all of our guys and thier families come have a good time! The daily activities were full and packed with fun! We ended up having over 40 boats participate in lunch runs, round ups and our very own poker run... top five hands went home with cash (enough to pay for thier trip)!!!

I'm hoping my leg is in good enough shape to do the Damn Run next month with DILLIGAF. You gonna make it?

It was great hanging out... As for the parking on the beach in the cove at the Nautical, lets just say I was slightly disappointed as well, but wrote it off (not worth the headache)... I had been at the Nautical all week since the previous weekend and had booked both of the cabana's all week and thru the weekend as I was having some Cobra customers roll into town after the other festivities had ended.

Thursday nite I pull in and find my slide anchor and rope gone... then I find it on the beach tied up to someone else's boat... that did not go over well with me...

then Saturday, both myself and another boat returned to the cove and found my reserved cabana's / beach parking had someone else in them (a misunderstanding that the Nautical thought I had left, so they double booked them)... Yeah, I did leave, for the day... I left chairs, slide anchors and ropes on the beach... I figured that we had found other parking and it was not worth moving everyone else so we left it alone... The Nautical was going to refund the other peeps money and give them a GC for dinner for the mistake. But again, I was over it and we made it work... It did piss me off for a few minutes though, oh well.

I am pretty sure I will be doing the dam run, however there is a slight chance that could change at the last minute... lets hope not... get well soon!

Theres definately some issues with the nautical. We thought it was strange that they would rent the spots to us when we saw things there. We even had to call back an hour after the original call to make sure and they said they were ours. I felt bad for the Nauticals misunderstanding but you were really cool about it and seemed that everyone still had a great time. Good seeing you again by the way!

The DCB guys were all pissed off about the Cobra guys taking up the channel

But on another note, it was nice of you to buy that table of 5 lunch just so they would leave. You're a giver! Good to finally meet you!
