Threads like this bum me out. Yeah, Jim Rich and I had our CJ feuds in the past, but this is different.
(for those who are wondering, Jim and I have put the past behind us and speak on a regular basis.

just a small piece of my mind, it is unfortunate that some feel so threatened they need to bad mouth others behind there backs and be adults about it enough to approach or go through the correct channels. i am very aware of what has been said about are program behind my back and am willing to have those prove i've done something outside the rules, but until then i will let my talking be done on the track.
hope all have a great holiday season and happy new year.
see you at the next race, be safe and good luck.

Tom, I was there at Burley and I witnessed the above BS first hand. Every time someone said something positive about how well you or your crew was doing, someone was right there to scream the words 'illegal motor'. It was sad to see someone so desperate to create a legacy

have to go to that extreme. You and Jack put your money on the table to shut them up (
here) and they never came forward. Though it screams poor sportsmanship and makes the class look bad (hence what Grady said). I personally don't like it and its not what the class was about. Back in the NJ days it was awesome. Early CJ days were awesome as well. I know when the turning point was and lets just say that poor sport has rumored to retire from CJ.
That being said, I will be back out there soon and I am looking forward to it. Through all the BS mentioned above.... I didn't like the direction of the attitude of the class was going either and it really made me question my future in comp jet racing. I only made it a point to go to the Burley race so my Mother (who lived in Boise) could see me race, who passed away shortly after. (RIP) It was the best decision I ever made, she loved it and couldn't stop talking about it.
Lets remember that we are racing for $5 plaques and bragging rights, not multi-thousand dollar NASCAR type contracts. We all spend tons of hard earned money to do this, lets just respect each other and the fact we are all there doing what we love. Lets put this crap in the past and move forward.
Sorry for all the "Kumbaya" crap, but I just would like to see this class get back to what it was all about.
