I heard it on the radio today that scientists have come up with some kind of a permanent solution via (for lack of a better term) poison that kills the mussels. It does not harm any other wildlife, waterway components or pose and harm to humans.

I wonder how long it will take to get this handled now???????????????

Years and years is my guess.....

Maybe there could be a way to rinse the outgoing boats, i meant boats that are leaving the lake. with that bacteria and kill even more of them and with a cert that lets other lakes know you had the boat "cleaned" of the Quagga and zebra bs.....

Something like dumptrucks use when they leave the pits/dumps they go through to shake off the dirt and rocks stuck in the wheels, ect. to keep the streets somewhat clean. Sounds like a good idea to me!
