Are the River Rat Covers worth the extra money? There are almost 100 dollars more polished over the Glenwood style.

The reason to have, and pay extra for a "River Rat" timing cover, that Mike came up with years ago, is to mount the water pump and your Enderle pump in a piggy back style, so there is no need to run one of the pumps off of a belt. I have known of one guy that ran that cover for the "River Rat" logo alone. So if you need it, it's worth it; if you're only running a water pump or a fuel pump alone then the glenwood, or Crower cover will work. Just mt $.02

Yeah, Ron, They are a cool cover. I have one of the old school types, it not as big as the Imco. I think mine is magnesium. P.S. Glad you're on the boards, Ron, Welcome!
