TPI 565 engine and Max Machine Works Drive

TPI Engine complete with headers, New Mercury Bravo 1 HD gimbal and Max Machine works drive.

Engine: fresh 2008 565C.I. BBC with only last years Howard regatta time on it I’m going to say less than 5 hours (the longer this takes to sale the more gentle hours that will be put on the engine). Motor specs; Dart tall deck block, Callies magnum crank, 4.25 stroke, 4.5 bore, Dart CNC pro 1 heads, 5.0 Liter Whipple with MOAC intercooler, CMI E-Top headers. New Mercury Bravo 1 HD gimbal and a 2008 Max Machine Worx full billet drive that has 1.35 gear, the prop is a Mercury 30 lab.

This engine will be pulled from the Howard and will be replaced by a Mercury 525 with a XR drive. I can not do this swap until the TPI motor and parts as listed above are sold. The current TPI engine will be run but not hard. I don't want, need or have any desire to have this much HP in my boat so....

I am looking for the best offer at over $43K for the setup listed above. I of course will retain the right to cancel this offer at anytime for any reason prior to accepting your offer

This setup minus the Mercury gimbal was up for sale last year at $65K so I think I have this priced right.

Lets get this done so I can get that 525 put in

Did Newmexico bullet or Garys wife have the dyno sheets on this motor? I have a buddy looking to upgrade. He is looking for over a 1000hp.

No dyno was ever done on the motor

Here is the deal after thinking this out with lots of input from a lot of people:

OK...Going to go run it tomorrow and go from there. If I do decide to sale this I will post an update here. Lots of excellant advice that I have been getting and it has definitly made me think about what I was doing. I may decide to do this but for now I am holding tight so this TPI engine is not currently for sale UNLESS an insane can't say no offer is made to me
