I am looking to get a tube to tow the kids around the lake.
What do you have/would you recommend it.
Looking for a 3-4 person one I think.

No, I will not tow my kids on the weekend on the river or in the lake!!!

Our kids have a great time on the Molecule, thing is massive though.
I see a lot of the Big Mommas, and Big Berthas out there.

Darrell.
Costco had a nice one. Im not sure of the brand but it was a 3-4 seater.
How old are the kids ? This is really the best I've seen for the little ones :D

The Hot dog has worked well for us. Stable and fun and not too large. Although, unlike a tube you can't whip it around.

We have a "Rock N Roll" made by HO and the kids love it. We tried the one from Costco, but they thought it was boring. Also, certain places, or counties I guess, only allow 2 riders maximum on towables.

Tubes

we have the HO APOLLO 3 and that thing is awesome,. hard to flip 3 seater and you can whip that thing pretty hard.the kids sit down inside with backrests and each rider has their own set of grab handles.:)devil
we have the black ice by HO it has 3 bladders that makes the bottom kind of convex shaped it s 78 inches across and round i can get 3 15 year old on it comfortably very stable i have never flipped it. it almost wont flip on its own. so you are only limited to how strong your kids are. its a lot of fun. sometimes the adults have more fun on it than the kids do:)sphss

I second this one. Our friends had one and let us borrow it while they went back to Cali and to work. Its great, they are picking us up one when they come back next week. We had the Hot Dog 3 seater and didnt like it as much.
We have an Airhead we got from West Marine on sale.

We learned from the first tube we bought to make sure it is completely enclosed. The ones with an open top will fill with water quickly, then the line parts, and the kids are sitting there with no boat hooked to them.

Our friends have the sitting one if thats the one from Costso. We want a different one so they don't get bored. We are probably going to barrow one for the next trip.
The best tow rope is the "Line Mans conduit rope" you can buy at the big box home improvement stores in the electrical section.
Buy at least 80' and it's cheap.

The 3/8" stuff is brutal and will never let ya down, the 5/8 colossal.
Hold a match to the ends or the rope where ya cut to melt it like ya did with your army men so it doesn't unravel.
I dip the ends in Sprinkler pipe glue too.
I don't know if it matter's much. Just get something to get 'em out there on.

I think mine is the two person Big Momma.
