A "nonprofit advocacy group" called The Cancer Project in St louis Mo. wants a warning label put on hot dogs sold @ Bush Stadium and other MLB stadiums, proclaiming the Hot Dog to be a "dietary disaster".
A billboard has been put up featuring an image of hot dogs jammed into a cigarette pack labeled "Unlucky Strikes."
Placement of the billboard is designed to catch fans headed to the All-Star Game this month.
The billboard and a letter from a Cancer Project dietitian to Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig claim a link between processed meats and the risk of colorectal cancer.
At least the smoking has some REAL medical research behind it.
