I have a jf Berkeley pump and I‘m upgrading the motor . Will I need to modify the pump or will changing the shaft and the impeller be enough? My original motor is stock and Im upgrading to a full roller stroker motor (approx. 700hp bbf) What modifications will need to be done to make it safe? Need advice or suggestions, thanks!

Definitely upgrade the shaft, and cut the impeller accordingly, preferably stainless.
JF/JE pumps aren't ideal for serious performance because of the design of the intake.
Shoes and loaders will probably have to be custom built, if at all.
What bowl? JC or split bowl?
Place Diverter or jet-o-vator?
Is the ride plate adjustable?
JBP or MPD would be my first calls.
