Not my idea, the wifes. Lets take the moho to Vegas...ok, why when I get free rooms? It would be cool. Ok dear :)sphss

So we're looking for an RV park near the strip, or a Casino that has hookups or at least power for the AC. I know Circus Circus has an RV park, but I hate that place.

Never done this before so we'll see how it goes.

Circus Circus is really the only place near/on the strip.. We've stayed there, It's no Belagio but what are you really looking for? Oasis is a nice place to stay but it's really an RV park far away from all the action.. Outdoor resorts is another one, it's nice but also not very close to the strip. CC is a parking lot but on the strip.... I would stay there... :)

we stay at oasis every year in our 5th wheel for our anniversary its across the fwy from the silverton/bass proshops is a beautiful place we have our p/u to get around though. it is south of madalay bay and the strip shuttles go there as a stop and i believe they have there own and the concierge can call you a cab if need be. they have a great pool with a lazy river type thing

and its not expensive. great experiance

Not near the strip but Sams Town is peacefull and a nice 2 story casino.
A mini buffet 24 hours, and the big buffet is great too.

Cornball at times, but since Boom Town closed, not a whole lot left to choose from.
Circus is scheduled to be demo'd and Oasis is the only other choice.

Vegas Taxis are a PITA and corrupt, and the campground/hotel shuttles are extremely unreliable with schedules you cannot depend on at all.

We've got a nice Southwind and I keep it perfect, always clean and waxed. But we feel like the Clampets at vegas motorcoach. If you aren't sporting a Prevost or Marathon you ain't even tryin.
That being said we like to stay there just to hang with the big ballers. :p

Circus Circus. Sam's Town.

The first is probably better for going and doing on the strip. The others require a dinghy.

Well I can tell you this Vic....Circus Circus Rv Park is almost identical to tailgating at Angel Stadium minus the stadium. It's awesome in 115 degree heat and on the blacktop the heat index feels something just short of the Sun's surface temp. Plus you have to walk a country mile into the Casino.

We have done this twice. Why twice? Two years ago any room was over $150 a night for a regular call up reservation so it was cheaper. However now Paying $60-$80 to park (and plug in) is a waste when a room is similar in cost. So the wife insisted, her parents were in town, it will be fun, yada yada. No - Not fun...never again.

As you know we have used the crap out of our MH...Just not at Vegas. I don't know about other parks but this one you will not like.

Exactly what I was thinking. And she thought the same, it will be fun.

Funny. I may have to excercise my veto powers :D

Thanks for the facts.

You can get a nice suite at the Venitian for little $'s these days.
Just depends on what you like. We bought a RV to use and Mrs Mb likes her rig. Motorcoach is nice and upscale but you need a toad to get around. We don't like to go out for every meal and we like to cruise around town so the RV still makes sence for us even in vegas.
